As a professional mountaineering and climbing instructor I offer bespoke days climbing and mountaineering in the mountains and crags in Scotland and the Lake District.
ALL ABOUT ME
I have been a keen climber and mountaineer since being introduced to it in my final year of University. I have been extremely lucky in that I've been able to make something I am passionate about into my job. I want to show everyone how great a time you can have in the mountains and crags, how to look after them and how in return they will help look after you. I have been based between Scotland and the Lake District for a few years now and love the contrasting beauty in both of these places. ROCK CLIMBING AND GUIDING
INTRODUCTION TO ROCK CLIMBING
£70pp full day £40pp half day
The introduction to Rock Climbing is perfect for anyone who has never climbed outside on real rock before and wants to get a taste for what it is like. It is accessable for everyone and can be adapted to meet the needs of both adults and children. This is a taster session for what real rock climbing is all about. This is suitable for groups people. £70pp
INTRODUCTION TO TRADITIONAL CLIMBING
£200 per day up to 2 people
This course is perfect if you have done a little bit of climbing already and would like to progress into outdoor Trad climbing from indoor or sport climbing. This can be single or multi pitch climbing. The day will be tailored to you and your wants and needs from the day. You must be able to belay and tie in for this course.
GUIDED CLIMBING AND SCRAMBLING
£200 per day up to 2 people
This day is a bit more adventurous. Choose from a range of climbs or scrambles in the mountains and be guided up safely with the help of a qualified guide. For more information on what days are suitable and available please get in touch.
GUIDED HILL WALKING
£180 per day up to 4 people or £220 for 5-8 people
This day is perfect for both new or experienced hill walkers who would like to be guided in the hills and mountains. This can be a chilled out day taking in the sites and summits or a day learning navigation and how to be self sufficient and safe in the hills.
BMC WOMAN'S READY TO ROCK
£60pp (max 6 people)
The Women's Ready to Rock courses are designed to help women indoor climbers to make their first moves onto rock by having a fun day out as well as covering the use of some key skills and equipment. These courses are ideal for anyone who may have had the odd taster of climbing indoors or outdoors and wish to gain key safety skills at an excellent price.
